Brief Summary

Clean Conduit was retained by New Rubber Technologies to create AutoCAD drawings and coordinate with vendors to procure equipment.

Background

NRT was awarded a Sustainable Development Technology Canada grant and required technical services for the procurement of an innovative rubber and plastic compounding line. 

The line is fully-automated and includes advanced equipment provided by leading equipment suppliers Flexicon, Schenck Process and Farrel Pomini.

The line will initially produce an SBS replacement material from recycled plastic and rubber which will be the first of its kind in Canada. Given the processing flexibility of the line, a variety of compounded materials can be produced.
